Kids Against Hunger DC Metro (KAH DC Metro) is a humanitarian food-aid organization that combats hunger in the United States and around the world by packaging and distributing nutritious meals to malnourished people.
KAH DC Metro is a Washington D.C. affiliate of Kids Against Hunger, which has over 80 affiliates across the U.S. and Canada.

May 11, 2013:
Guru Nanak Foundation of America (GNFA) Sikh Gurdwara in Silver Spring, MD. The event was organized by the youth group. We had over 50 volunteers participate ages 5 to 75. Our target goal was 7,500, but we managed to surpass our goal and pakage 10,584 meals. Meals were picked up from the Manna Food Center, who will be distributing the packaged meals to low income families in Montgomery County.
