Welcome to KAH DC Metro!
Kids Against Hunger DC Metro (KAH DC Metro) is a humanitarian food-aid organization that combats hunger in the United States and around the world by packaging and distributing nutritious meals to malnourished people.
KAH DC Metro is a Washington D.C. affiliate of Kids Against Hunger, which has over 80 affiliates across the U.S. and Canada.
Recent Activities
March 30, 2013:
The National Hispana Leadership Institute partnered with KidsAgainstHunger and Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad Sorority for a food packaging event at George Washington University.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who participated in the event - 25,764 meals were packaged and will be distributed to organizations locally and overseas.

UPDATE:
In 2012, KAH DC Metro packaged and distributed over 200,000 meals to families in need both in the Washington DC metro area and abroad. Thanks to our great volunteers!
